General travel advice - RAIL
For visitors to Hartlepool travelling by train the railway station is located in the centre of town, only a few minutes walk from the Marina, Middleton Grange Shopping Centre and many other key facilities. Trains run from Hartlepool to Middlesbrough and Newcastle hourly, and at some times of the day every 30 minutes.

There are also some services directly to York, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. Please note though that services directly from London and Scotland are infrequent, and generally a traveller will have to change for Hartlepool at Newcastle or Darlington.
